Programming
One team delivering consistency & quality across a project
Robust, reliable and elegantly engineered control systems programming is at the core of our business.
Our team’s strong industrial engineering background is evident in our work. We programme show control systems for theme park rides with the same industrial standards that would power a car production line. What makes us different is the way we work. We are a team that works as one and delivers consistency across a project.
We have a developed in-house coding standards for all of our programming. The entire team follows these standards, meaning any one of our team can work on a project, picking up where their colleague left off without delay or re-learning. Our team have programmed entire theme parks using identical coding structures, naming and commenting with consistent user interfaces.
Ferrari world Abu Dhabi, Motiongate & Bollywood at Dubai Parks, Warner Bros Abu Dhabi, and Universal Studios Beijing are excellent examples of this. On these projects we either programmed every system in the park, or a large proportion of them. All of the programming of the show control systems, video servers, audio DSPs, PLCs etc follow a standardised structure and approach. All of the documentation is consistent. All of the user interfaces look the same, making life easier for the operations team.
We work primarily with show control systems from Medialon and Alcorn McBride; video systems from Alcorn McBride, 7th Sense Design, Modulo Kinetic and AV Stumpfl / Pixera; audio systems from QSC / QSYS, L-Acoustics and Peavey. Our skills transfer easily to other systems.
We have un-paralleled experience working with the Medialon range of systems, having worked with the Medialon range of products on a daily basis for more than 20 years.
We programme PLC & Safety PLC systems from Beckhoff, Allen Bradley, Omron, and Siemens. We love working with industrial control components in creative ways, including motion controllers, servo drives & motors, inverters / VDFs for mechanical effects, and water pumps / fountain effects. We have vast experience working with industrial fieldbus networks, and the conversion of protocols between systems.
